SentryPlus Alert® technology provides automatic flood detection on backflow preventer assemblies to signal excessive relief valve discharge which could be worsened by a blocked or undersized drain and cause costly damage. SentryPlus Alert comes with multiple solutions for flood protection, detection, and notification.

Flood Detection - Implementing the SentryPlus Alert system on reduced pressure zone and reduced pressure detector assemblies equipped with a flood sensor adds a multichannel alert function triggering one or more notification methods (email message, SMS text message, voice call) to help facility personnel prevent discharges that could reach ruinous levels. To enable flood detection capabilities, activate the flood sensor with the add on Sensor Connection Kit. For use with BMS or cellular communication network.

Freeze Detection - Protect small diameter devices from freezing conditions with sensor-driven temperature monitoring to signal facility personnel when temperature nears and reaches the freezing point. Freeze alerts feature available with add-on connection kit for Wi-Fi networks, building management systems (BMS), and irrigation management systems (IMS). This two-sensor kit includes one for use on a valve assembly, the other for standalone use at other cold-vulnerable, water-carrying equipment. Freeze sensor replacement kit available.
